MEET JULIE

Originally from the Tidewater area of Virginia, I received my Bachelor of Music degree with a concentration in piano performance from James Madison University in 2013. Since graduating I have had the unique opportunity to live and teach in the United Kingdom, Maine, New Hampshire, Washington and Idaho. I am now located in Chesapeake, Virginia and an active member of the Music Teachers National Association.

FAQs

  • You and Julie will schedule a weekly lesson time for your student. Prior to the student's remote online music lesson, you will receive a link to a secure virtual lesson room. Online lessons are all held virtually via video lesson rooms. Students then receive fun activities to practice throughout the week!

  • Exact availability varies by your location and Julie’s. We will meet first to find the time that will work best for you and your commitment each week.

  • In addition to their instrument, students need a laptop computer, desktop computer, or tablet with both audio and video capabilities to participate in the Tidewater Music Academy online music lessons program.

  • I’m so glad you asked! I would love to schedule a consultation with you, to get to know you and your music goals! We would then get you signed up for your weekly virtual or in person classes!
